Kaleb and Kai 2008

We had a lot of fun with the boys when they came to visit us. We went downtown and watch for Sean and Bryan finished their run. The boys were having some fun in the water and listening some rock and roll.

Foi muito divertido ter Kaleb e Kai aqui conosco. Esta foto tiramos quando estavamos no centro da cidade de Des Moines, fomos la para assistir Sean e Bryan ( irmao de Sean) chegarem de uma corrida que eles fizeram. A corrida chama Dam to Dam e o percurso e 20 k. Nesta fotos as criancas estavam se divertindo na agua e tinha uma banda tocando musica.

Amon and mom spent a weekend together in the YMCA camp. It was a lot of fun, with a lot of activities. Rosana and Tatiana went with us. It was a fun weekend.

Eu e Amon fomos passar o final de semana acampando. Foi muito legal, tinha muitas atividades. Rosana e Tatiana foram conosco. Foi um otimo final de semana.

The Library of Congress

For sure, The Library of Congress was my favorite place in DC, It is beautiful and you can feel the History there.

Com certeza, A biblioteca do Congresso foi meu lugar favorito em Washington DC. E lindo la. Com certeza tem um valor historico impressionante, de fazendo sentir muito perto da Historia dos Estados Unidos.

Washington DC

We spent 5 days in Washington DC. Sean went to finished his last requirement to be certified as FSA, yes... he finished it, We are so proud of him. In the same day we were celebrating our 10Th anniversary. It was a wonderful trip, I loved DC, It is so beautiful and full of history. Mom came and stay in Iowa with Amon and Andrew. Thank you Mom, we really appreciate it.

Nos passamos 5 dias em Washington DC, capital dos Estados Unidos. Sean foi terminar sua certificacao como FSA, teve entrega do diploma e um jantar. Uau, ele terminou depois de 5 anos estudando. Estamos muito orgulhoso dele. No mesmo dia celebramos 10 anos de casados. Foi uma viagem maravilhosa. Eu gostei muito de DC, e muito bonito e cheio de Historia. A mae do Sean veio em nossa casa para tomar contar das criancas, o que foi muito legal por parte dela e nos deu um tempinho so nosso.

We are having a busy Summer. We were so glad to have Bryan's family over, they spent 5 days here and we had a chance to play a lot of Settlers of Catan :) but most of all, to spend time together. We also had Mom, Dad and Luciane over for Amon's baptism. It was so wonderful and Amon felt very special.

Nos estamos tendo um verao bem ocupado. Somos felizes que a familia do Bryan veio passar alguns dias aqui em casa, eles ficaram aqui por 5 dias e pudemos fazer muitas coisas juntos. A mae e o pai do Sean tambem vieram para o batisado de Amon. Luciane veio tambem e fez Amon sentir-se muito especial. Foi uma experiencia maravilhosa.

KeeKee went home

We had KeeKee living with us for almost 6 months. She left on May 18th. We will sure miss her. We had a lot of great experience together and we grew closer and we will always remember this time we spent together. We miss you KeeKee.

Amon's baptism

We are so pround of Amon for the choice he made. He was baptized on June 7th and it was a very special experience. He has grown so much. This summer he went to spend 10 day in Las Vegas all by himself and had a lot of fun. Thank you all in Las Vegas that made him feel welcome and especially Kendra and Mom that took the time to have him in your home.
